Step by step, so you know what to expect from the first visit.

I check your teeth and bite and explain what can be corrected and with which option.
Plan and estimate
I tell you how long I expect it to take and what it costs before anything goes on.
Treatment
I place the braces or hand you the aligners, and I see you at follow-up visits.
Retention
When you finish, you wear a retainer so your teeth stay where they belong.

How long does orthodontic treatment take?

It depends on how much the teeth need to move and on your age. I give you an estimate at the assessment, once I've seen your bite.

Which is better, braces or aligners?

Both straighten teeth. Braces stay on and handle almost anything; aligners barely show and come off to eat, but you have to wear them all day. I'll tell you which fits your case.

Am I too old for braces?

No. Orthodontics works for adults as long as the gums and bone are healthy.

When should a child get checked?

The earlier the better. With kids I can use jaw orthopedics to guide growth and avoid longer treatment later.

How much does orthodontics cost?
