A dental implant replaces the root of a missing tooth: it's a post placed in the bone that carries a natural-looking crown. I place implants with or without a crown, and since I have my own lab, the crown is made here and fitted to your mouth. First I check that your bone and gums are ready.

Does getting an implant hurt?
Placement is done under local anesthesia. Afterward there may be some discomfort for a few days, managed with the instructions I give you.
